Electron Zen, located in sunny Sarasota, Florida, is an independent developer of Mac OS and iOS software. Jim Getzen is the owner, programmer, marketer, website designer, tech support specialist, graphic artist, accountant, secretary, and janitor. He is not particularly skilled at any of those functions, yet still manages to release what he hopes is quality software from time to time.
Jim started programming back in the days of the TRS-80 (thanks, Mom and Dad!) and loading programs from cassette tapes. He had the great fortune to acquire the seminal book Basic Computer Games in 1978. That's all it took; a life-long interest in programming was the result.
